Chandrayaan-2 Design
Chandrayaan-2 was launched as a composite stack of three modules with a combined mass of 3,850 kg:

The orbiter carried eight scientific instruments, the lander three (plus a NASA laser retroreflector), and the rover two — fourteen in all. See the full payloads list.
The stack was launched by the GSLV Mk III, ISRO's most powerful launcher of the time. The lander was named Vikram after Dr Vikram A. Sarabhai, the father of the Indian space programme; the rover's name Pragyan means "wisdom" in Sanskrit.
